Happy New Year!!!
It’s day one of my four-month long “restricted” diet. I’m doing this for health reasons but I’ll be happy to lose the muffin top and extra 3-4kgs I’ve been packing for two months.
Day one has been ok. I did have a slight headache for most of the day but nothing too severe. I feel fine and not at all struggling. In my experience, it’s after 2-3 weeks that become difficult. Anyway, here’s the facts and figures for the day.
Weight: 51.3kg
Breakfast:
- Oatmeal with organic sultanas, chia seeds and cinnamon. Made with water.
- Decaf coffee, black
- One Bromelain Supplement
- One 1000mg Vitamin C
Mid-morning
- an apple
- 1/3 cup of mixed seeds and almonds
- water
Lunch and afternoon grazing (I didn’t have a proper lunch only because I was at work)
- 1/2 head of lettuce
- a mandarin
- a kiwi fruit
- water
- 1000mg Vitamin C
Dinner
- Brown rice with carrot, green capsicum, organic sun-dried tomatoes, Braggs Seasoning
- Lettuce
- Rooibos tea
- 1000mg Vitamin C
Physically: I felt slightly hungry in the afternoon and now at bedtime. I’ve had a headache since mid-day but not painful enough to require pain relief.
I’ll have to eat more and plan more to be successful, this I know!! I hate going to bed hungry.
So far, it’s been easy peasy but I’ll take each day as it comes…..
